Yea, basically.
You don't burn more calories at a higher room temperature. Sweating more does not mean you're burning more calories.
The benefit of Bikram yoga over regular is that you'll have a more intense cardio workout. Don't go to 3 classes, jump on the scale and start dancing 'cause you've lost 5 lbs. If you make a habit of going 3-5 times a week to hot yoga, that's when you'll see results. It does wonders for muscle flexibility and toning, not to mention will power. Those classes kick your ass sometimes.
Hot Yoga on 17th is a great studio. Not that it isn't busy enough already..
