I recently played through DE1 again a couple weeks ago - it was still absolutely amazing.

Then I installed DE2. I got about 15 minutes into the first level until I remembered how bad it sucked. The game-play was way too linear in comparison with the first.

No DE games will ever live up to the awesome that was DE1 unfortunately.

Cool trailer though. If they bring back skills and add more specialization and ways to attack problems, then it hopefully shouldn't disappoint.

Also of note is that this game is being developed in Montreal, which will also be one of the locations in the game.
