Hi guys, just want some opinions. I bought a car on Monday, and I was supposed to pick it up tomorrow (Saturday morning). They called me today and said they found some damage on the fender while they were detailing it, and it was likely due to someone bumping the car while it was parked on the lot.
Now the question is - who is liable for this sort of thing? I haven't even touched it since I put my deposit on it, it happened on their property and it was in their care for the week. They said they are willing to discuss "concessions" about this, but I don't see what concessions are to be made - they need to fix it, at no expense to me.
Anyone have any experience with issues like these? Hopefully the CP braintrust can provide some sound advice
