I think I would have voted for them too. The funny thing is, I actually know one of their candidates--Elsa Yeoman. I met her in Iowa, if you can believe it. I really wonder if there's going to be a massive sea-change in Icelandic political culture, and perhaps a multiplication of parties. It'll be really interesting to see what happens on a national level the next time Icelanders go to the polls.

Neat you have met her, the world for Icelanders is really quite small. Its funny you mention the sea change as there is already talk that the party move into federal elections, if nothing just to bring some new people to the table. Apparently Jon Gnarr is talking about a lot of good ideas so there seems to be some hope he will do some good in Reykjavik.
But yeah that would be an amazing signature, that was definitely my LOL moment in the video too.
