I think I would have voted for them too. The funny thing is, I actually know one of their candidates--Elsa Yeoman. I met her in Iowa, if you can believe it. I really wonder if there's going to be a massive sea-change in Icelandic political culture, and perhaps a multiplication of parties. It'll be really interesting to see what happens on a national level the next time Icelanders go to the polls.

I think "Allskonar fyrir Aumingja!" would be my new sig if I didn't think there would be exactly two people on this board who would laugh--and I'm one of them.
