Like the article states, England could have used Matt Le Tissier and his 98% success rate in penalties. That idiot Glenn Hoddle decided to leave Le Tiss at home in '98 in light of the penalty failures in '96 against the Kr*uts. I guess in his mind it was more important to pack the side with former and current Spurs players than it was to take players that could help out in certain situations. That man was an absolute buffoon.

I've never liked penalties in any sport. My cousin was on the 1994 Olympic team that undeservedly lost in the shootout to the Swedes. I'm still bitter about that one.
