I guess Soderling learned a lot from last years finale or else Roger has been worse this season because his confidence may have been low because of the loss to Nadal at the Madrid Masters or his mindset was looking forward (Nadal) and not the task at hand. i.e. Soderling.

My prediction is a Nadal V Soderling Final with Nadal being a dominant force taking the match

There was no way Federer was ignoring Soderling and looking ahead. Soderling is a beast on clay and one of the contenders of the tournament. It was a close match and the key points went Soderling's way (as it does for the winner in most tennis matches).

Last year's final was close too, Soderling had chanced to turn in around in the 2nd and 3rd sets but that time Federer won the big points.
