Alright had a day to digest everything.
I liked the ending for the most part.. cleared up enough things to give some closure and left enough things hanging to keep it mysterious. Lots of heart string tugging.
Ended up kind of how I thought it would, though them finding Earth completely wiped out threw me for a while.
I thought it all wrapped together fairly well for a series that was written on the fly rather than mapped out completely from the beginning.
A bit surprised at how positive the ending actually was, considering how dark the series was at points.. I half expected them to jump into space around earth in 2010 and we nuke them out of existence.
Thought it was a bit heavy handed right at the end with the images of robots and the "angels" asking the questions, yes I think we got the message without having to spell it out.
Sucks that it's over now, and nothing to replace it with.
