What are you trying to "clean" out of your intestine? Like I stated above, there is absolutely no available scientific data to support this. Furthermore, what is the benefit of a "more efficient" digestive system. A regular, high fibre diet will help regulate a person's bowel movements but the actual gastrointestinal benefits of this are trivial. The real benefit from a high fibre diet is in the lipid profile, specifically the triglycerides.
