Like seriously. Wtf is it about Apple products that pisses Windows fanboys off so much? It isn't Apple users, because I don't see very many of us posting the same crap in other threads that they post in Apple ones... Is it just that age-old "hate everything you don't understand" thing?
First they ridicule us, now they want to segregate us off into out own little subforum where they don't have to see us anymore. The best part is that we're still going to get people trolling Apple threads in the subforum, we're just going to have a couple extra clicks along the way before we can read it.

It's mainly because of people who keep saying that Apple is the best and won't stop talking about Apple being so great. If Apple was any other piece of tech and didn't have someone talking about it all the time, it wouldn't recieve nearly as much attention. Most of the trolling is probably against your posts and posting style in particular because it seems to get people argumentative about it.
It's all about volume & balance. There are plenty of cool things from other manufacturers and companies but they don't get posted about all the time, therefore they don't recieve the same backlash. If there was someone posting all the time about how awesome Sony/Nvidia/ATI/Intel/AMD/Nintendo/Xbox/Blackberry/random Taiwanese company, etc. products were etc. he would get negative attention too.
The volume of positive and negative posts regarding Apple is probably perfectly correllated to the the volume of Apple threads. The more that you praise them, the more people who do not agree with your opinion will work to voice their own opinions.
I'm passionate about a lot of things but I'm not passionate enough about them to bother talking about them on a hockey forum's tech forum. You are. Be proud of that if that's what it takes.
