There are also a lot more ads. They've obviously had more time to get their ducks in a row for their advertisers.
Navigation isn't nearly as nice as Popular Science. It is a little inconsistent. Many times I didn't realize I had to scroll down to view more articles. It seemed like they said "OK. This article will be read this way. This one, this way. Let's try this style out."
That being said, magazines on the iPad are the only way to go for me now. I won't be buying the printed version anymore. You just get much more bang for your buck with the iPad version. Videos, high resolution stand-alone photos from the articles, hyperlinks to products within advertisements. I find myself actually reading the ads to see what they're offering for extra content.
