What I was hoping in the end when he woke up in the river after being in the cave, which was a lot like where the man in blacks body was found that we'd see black smoke roaring out of the cave, and we'd hear hurley's voice in the distance exclaiming.
"Dude we're f'd"
And then Jack's voice saying . . . "Don't call me dude"
