I agree that the Bible is full of tales that are not based in reality, although I think some of them have parablic value to them. I tend to think that was the real point in the first place.

As for God being imaginary... could be. Even things in science and nature could be imaginary. Our whole perspective about the world around us is from that of a human brain. Scientfically speaking, it's not a very big sample size. How do we know we are even logical beings? For example, you know how when we dream and the logic potion of our brain goes into slumber, things that are completely absurd make sense in a dream logic way... How do we know that humans are not living that way 24/7 and things that seem logical on the surface only appear that way because our brains (either through natural evolution or intelligent design) are engineered that way? I guess I am just saying that I see no reason to trust our senses and assume everything we sense or understand is truly representative of the world around us or that it means what we think it means.
