I have never hated being right more than I do at this moment.
Very upset with the outcome of this season.. I started a Russell hater but after watching his last season in combination with this quickly became a fan. He is great in challenges, he might not always win but he always comes to play, great strategically, and you can say he sucks socially but he always finds 2 or 3 people that WILL stay loyal to him. This year it was Parvarti and Danielle, last year it was his Foa Foa crew. People recognize that he is a dominant player and they will follow him.
Jeff had it nailed down, he understands that it is frustrating to watch a seemingly useless player win back to back seasons.. but if Russell doesn't adjust his game he will never win. He has to stop pissing people off, but he can't do that if he continues to play the way that he does.
I think Boston Rob has the ideal game play strategy, it failed this time around because his band of idiots couldn't perform a simple task.. but if Russell could shift more to Robs strategy he would do a lot better with jury votes. He should have tried to let Parvarti take more blame, then at least he might have gotten a few votes.
I will agree that Parvarti is a great player, but her calling Russell her "Pet" was a stretch, it is as simple as this, if it wasn't for Russell Parvarti would not have been sitting at the final three, simple as that. And I don't just mean the final vote, I mean the whole stretch run, the entire game.
Oh and I agree, Rupert is an idiot. I was a fan of him, now he is just annoying me. All of the camp followers, even the heroes, have said in the extra interviews that he is also very rude and obnoxious away from the Producers edits.. I could believe it.
