I've done it in an apartment before, and no complaints.
Tony emphasizes about landing soft, to lessen the impact on your joints. Doing it in an apartment will help to maintain your focus about landing softly and doing the exercises properly. Might be good in the long run.
Agreed that Kenpo doesn't even compare to Pylo. If you want the best workout you need the Pylo.
