I've been on the opposite side of this situation (a drunk driver crossed the centerline and killed some of my very close family members), but the daughters and grandchildren of the driver are still faultless victims who will suffer because of someone else's poor decisions. In my case, the drunk driver's children won't see their mother for most of their teenage years, and that's through no fault of their own. In this situation, it's even worse for the family of the driver. I'm glad that it sounds like the people in the other car will be alright, but there are always innocent victims in a situation like this. I just hope that people are slowly learning something from all of these drunk driving tragedies.
