while in NYC, we went to a Mario Batali restaurant, and the food was absolutely phenomenal. Surprisingly, it wasn't that expensive. Appetizers, main, dessert and drinks for two came out to $150 + tip
Never been to his restaurant in Vegas, but if NY is anything to go by, I'd give it a try
as for Cirque shows, go to their website, sign up as a member (its free) and they send you discounts and promos. Haven't looked lately, but I've seen Vegas shows discounted 50% up to a month in advance
