I go to the Jack Singer on a regular basis and always park in the Palliser East parkade that you enter on 9th Ave. From there it is maybe 3.5 blocks via the Plus 15 system.
If you enter after 5 pm, maybe 6 pm, the parking is either $5 or $6 for the entire night, depending on which day of the week it is.
Convention center works too, but I find it a pain in the arse to get out of there, but that would depend on which way you need to orient yourself on the way home. I prefer to end up on 10 Ave for my travel home, so that is why the Palliser parkade is very convenient for me.
