The biggest difference I've noticed between BoB and The Pacific, is the comradery between the soldiers BoB was much more evident for whatever reason. I guess they called it "Band of Brothers" for a very good reason. It sure made it alot easier for me to get attached to the soldiers in BoB, and as 3 Justin 3 said got you more emotionally connected to the series as a whole.
