I'm moving all my DVDs to m4v this month so I can watch them on the iPad.
I have Handbrake running almost non-stop on both the Mac and PC. Though some of the commercial DVDs I had to use MacTheRipper on before encoding with Handbrake.
Is there a free PC equivalent to MacTheRipper (remove copy protection, extract DVD to hard drive)?
It's a pain in the butt that I can move all my CD's to my iPad easily, but can't move the DVDs that I personally own to the iPad. Doesn't logic dictate that it's the same thing? Or is it that the horse is already out of the barn for CD's but if there was any way the entertainment industry could get it back in.....
