Teams I like, for largely incomprehensible reasons:
Mexico
Uruguay
Argentina
Greece
England
USA
Algeria
Ghana
Paraguay
Brazil
Korea DPR (underdog factor, not totalitarian sympathies)
Ivory Coast
Spain
Switzerland
Chile

I am most partial to Switzerland because of my mom's ancestry, England because I lived there and I like it, USA because it would be good for MLS, especially if the MLS players that are called up do really well. Algeria because, I don't know, this Algerian dude made me a great shawarma once. Spain because they play awesome soccer. Greece because I got really drunk and ate a lot of souvlaki when they won the 2004 Euro Cup.

Really, I'll be neutral during most of it. Should be fun!
