The biggest thing is to make sure that nobody responds to trolling posts. And CP has to be one of the easiest places to do that- it's on the Internet and we have tools to ignore people for you; as opposed to being at the game or having to listen to your Canuck fan buddy beak off.
It's a vicious circle. Canuck fans troll because they know Flames fans will react. Flames fans react; which is incentive for other Canuck fans to troll.

I'm not sure. You could look at banning some of the Canuck posters who are only here after wins. Some of them are pretty easy to spot. I understand what they're doing is not blatantly inflammatory or against forum rules, but to me they're not contributing positively on a regular basis and are only here for one reason.
I guess that probably creates more of a headache for the mods in trying to track down who's who of these posters, and I don't really have an answer for that. I honestly think, if these guys were culled, this place would be a little more receptive to guys like Blaster and Mayer.
EDIT: Look how many of them are back on here tonight after taking the last 3 games off.
