I still remember the first time I went to Anfield. I was only 6 years old and I remember thinking how small the field seemed. It looked so big on TV but not so much when you are at the stadium. I was in the family paddock with my dad (RIP) and was amazed looking over at the Kop at how loud it was and how many scarves and banners there were. It was an incredible sight. I ended up standing in the Kop for many years before the seats were put in. I loved being part of that throng. 20,000 people literally pulling the ball into the Kop net. It's not quite the same nowadays but still an awesome thing to see.
