I started on Dr. Pepper in high school and have never looked back. Although I switched to diet about 5 years ago, my consumption didn't decrease until recently. At the high point I was drinking upwards of 3 litres a day of the stuff, now I'm down to a can every couple of days. I've had a few headaches & shakes, but nothing all that bad. Stick with it - all shall come to pass in due time.
Surprisingly, it's not the caffeine that gave me grief; it's the carbonation. The crap plays havoc with your cardiovascular system. Now that I'm starting to get back into sports a lot more, I found I actually had a hard time catching my breath until I dropped my Dr. Pepper intake.
