As of right now I think Buck leads all American league catchers in Home runs and RBI.
Alex Gonzalez also leads all American League short stops in those two categories too.
So although it's pretty much a guarantee that it won't be that way at the end of the season, it's been fun to watch so far.
I've been impressed with the starters on the staff thus far as well. They do lack that big horse in Halladay, but the rotation does seem to have decent depth and there is a couple guys on the farm too. If McGowan or Litsch ever makes a recovery to pre-injury form they could have the type of staff in place that they'll need to go up against the two heavy hitters inside their Division.
