What we can do is create a tournament (say through PokerStars) and then set it at $30-40 for buyin. Then we can decide if we want deep stacks, standard 1500 chips to start, or 1000, or whatever. If the minimum amount of players (say 1 table) don't sign up, the tournament is cancelled automatically for the week.
All we need is a CP password on the tournament itself.
Might make things a lot easier for many of the members who have long drives or simply just can't get out of the house for the night.
