When I first started playing poker online I didn't have a clue what I was doing. I was so green I had to write down the hands and how they rank on a piece of paper, and keep it with me while I played. It still didn't stop me from sitting down at $200 NL tables ($2/$4 Blinds - six handed). What an idiot........needless to say I got my bankroll reduced to $0 in short order. I lost almost $1000 before I decided maybe I should re-think what I was doing lol.

I went out and bought a bunch of poker books and started playing massive amounts of poker at a more reasonable stake, $25 NL ($0.10/0.25 blinds)....and I also started playing alot of tourneys and multi table sitngo's. Took me awhile, but eventually I won back everything I lost and a little more.

I don't play much anymore because I prefer to play tourneys, and that takes alot of time to accomplish. I'm just happy that I'm not in the red anymore.
