City of Calgary FAQ: Is there a limit to the amount of garbage I can throw out?

At certain times of year, garbage volumes become higher than usual. During those times, The City may implement as needed a limit of up to five bags on the amount of garbage collected from each household.

In Nanaimo, you're only allowed to put out one bag. But you can buy "extra bag" tags for a dollar each (I don't think there's a limit, as long as you pay for the tags...) Sounds like a good idea to me.

And I think we're paying $8.40 for the curbside recycling this year. $8 was last year.
