I play on Full Tilt - strictly tourney's and over the last 3 years have won quite a bit (won't say how much - let's just say, my wife has no problem with me playing a tourney until 3am and then calling in sick for work, lol) but it took time to learn the "online way".
Withdrawing money was easy but there are limits as to how much you can take each day.
To me the key is, once you get on a site you like then stick with it. I found that playing styles actually differ between sites. But like Vlad mentioned earlier, make sure you find a reputable site - just do some google research to make sure your on the right site.
