A few as a kid:
I used a pair of my mom's fabric scissors to cut through an electrical cord. Burnt the scissors and took a clunk out of a blade.

I have a foggy memory of tossing a screwdriver into a socket.

I swallowed a marble and got it stuck in my windpipe.

Not really a Darwin but as a 14 yr old I was going to cross a busy street with my friends. The near lane stopped and I started to walk across and just happened to stop in time as a cab went whipping by in the second lane. I remember pulling my hips back like a baseball player does when the pitcher throws one inside.

In the last few years my stupid move was biking down the hill by the Calgary Tennis Club. I'd head down the hill, see if traffic was coming and if I saw nothing, whip through the intersection taking a left turn. I'd typically apex the corner. One morning, fairly dark, I saw nothing and as I apexed the corner a car came out from behind a horse trailer parked on the street. To this day I have no idea how I magically corrected in a split second and made it between the front of the trailer and the car. While I might not have been killed it certainly would have left a mark. To the driver of that black civic hatchback I apologize.
