So does that mean you think action should be taken to disarm the United States? They have a lunatic fringe too, and they are quite powerful. It's only been a year and a half since they had a President who (apparently) believes we are in the middle of The End Times.
They were pretty close to giving the backup goalie spot to a religious nut that is completely disengaged from reality. And dear Sarah still has a shot in 2012. Isn't that a "real link" to the lunatic fringe?
Again, I don't like the idea of Iran having nukes either, but it is hypocritical of us to not "trust them" with nukes while we do trust other far more, umm, "aggressive" countries to have them.
