He did lead the Buccaneers winning the NFC South in 2007 by starting 13 games and did have 11 starts in 2008. But he did take pretty much all of 2009 off.
I would agree that he's a guy likely isn't going to be offered a starting gig. But I think think that if he was willing to be a backup and willing to help mentor a young starting QB that NFL teams would be interested and backup QB's still make a pretty good wage. It's up to him if he wants that though, he doesn't strike me as a guy who needs to work though and he is 40 years old now.
