Had a change of heart and signed with Dallas. I see the idea that teams may be in love with their own draft picks and favor them over a college free agent. But as a college free agent you also get a bit of a choice as to where you go whereas if you're a 7th round pick you don't. If he was willing to try a NFL career as a 7th round pick though, I do think he should give it a shot as a college free agent. |
I agree. If multiple teams are after him than at least go to a camp. If you don't then I would think I would always wonder what it was like.
I can understand not wanting to be a player going from practice roster to practice roster, but at least find out if that would be the case.
