Its 5pm. I would tell them to fata off. Or find out who did it and then complain to bylaw to them about anything and everything you can think of.
If you are doing it between 5pm and 530pm then those people who complained need a fricken life.
A great bylaw retaliation tool is if you live in an area where you need a parking permit, if they ever have friends over who dont have permits (unliekly as these snobs probably dont have any friends) call bylaw on their friends vehicle for parking violations.
