I think that "used" to be true. Harley's are now pretty well built bikes. They are having a hard time shaking the AMF days when they were basically crap but I think they have come a long way since and are every bit as good as Imports. I know a lot of people with both types of bikes who have never had any trouble with either...

I don't think that's true...

A 2010 GoldWing is 29,999.00 (From Honda Canada)

The comparible Harley is 29,339 (From HD Canada)

Unless you buy the Screaming Eagle CVO package for the Harley... They seem pretty close to me...

Also, you have to remember that people buy bikes that are appealing to them. I personally don't think there is a more beautiful bike than the Road King, except maybe an old Indian Cheif.

One thing I consider when buying any vehicle is resale. It's why I bought a Harley, it's why I bought a Lexus. Though I think the Goldwing probably has decent resale too.

I don't dissagree with most of the rest of what you say. Like ANYTHING in life there is good and bad.

I hate guys that put after market pipes on cars and feel the need to punch it going down a residential street ...

I hate when the deisel pickup in front on me spews it's black smoke in the air when it stomps on the gas...

I hate anyone who puts straight pipes on ANY bike...

You're right, there are D-nozzles that ride Harleys. There are D-nozzles that ride Honda's too.

And there are D-nozzles that walk
