I love how you come in here hoping to inform everyone, when it's not the riders that need to know this info. Go tell your friends in these areas about your sign idea - they're the ones complaining.
If you have a suggestion for riders on how they can be more "polite", without outright avoiding these areas, then by all means share the info. We're all ears.

Actually, it's the riders who need to know the info and it was just a friendly FYI so they know there is some tension building there.
There's actually an isolated cafe at the corner of Highway 549 and Highway 40 that does get some traffic . . . . . since you asked.
But, what are you gonna do? Motorcycles are loud and obnoxious and, in many cases, made deliberately that way. If communities don't like it, they'll do something about it . . . . . and they have in the past. Others, like Daytona, might go the opposite way. It's up to them.
I'm not against motorcycles and, in fact, my uncle owns one of the largest motorcycle dealerships in western Canada while my father rode his Harley around western North America in his younger days.
