Anyways, I really don't care if people hate motorcycles. There's nothing wrong with that. I hate certain motorcyclists as well. I simply had an issue with people complaining about them in a thread that was specifically created to bring motorcyclists together for a ride.

Yeah, and they haven't done anything to stop them...yet. I get what Cowperson is saying, and he's right. They CAN do something about it, but they haven't yet, so what's the big deal?

Here's my advice, from an actual rider:
- Loud pipes do NOT save lives. Smart riding does. Be considerate with your noise levels.
- Ride by the rules of the road if you wish to share it. Riders have a bad enough rep, that we don't need to be reinforcing the stereotype.
- Chat with the locals every now and then. Maybe they'll see you as more than just a stupid rider.
