I think a sizeable portion of the populations of those towns would actually appreciate you guyz taking your ride somewhere else. It would make their weekends less deafening.
But that's free enterprise. The owners of those establishments serving bikers certainly wouldn't like it if the business disappeared.
You're now armed with the information. Do what you want with it.
FYI, I don't live in either place, although not too far away. I don't care. They do. Mercifully, I live a mile off a highway, at the end of a dead end gravel road. Peaceful.

For the record, I'm very much about being respectful when riding, because I understand that there is a stigma that goes along with it. While others get louder pipes, I actually bought silencers for mine to make it quiet. I did so because I don't want to wake my neighbors if I happen to take my bike out early in the morning.
That said, why should riders avoid certain areas, especially if they're not doing anything illegal? Because it upsets some people? If that's the case, they would not be able to ride anywhere.
If I upset some people because I stop in their town to get some gas or a bite to eat, then so be it. I can do everything by the book, and that won't stop a thing. They knew they hated me before I even got there, so....
