Just before their collapse, Iraq's army had 1,050,000 men in uniform.

China has 7.5 million.

Russian's army is at 1,037,000

America's army is about 1.45 million

North Korea's is about 1.9 million

France is just over 600,000

Germany's is about just over 600,000 as well.

I believe at the time China, Russia and North Korea were ahead of Iraq's in manpower strength. The American's were slightly ahead as well. But there was a massive drop off after the top 5

Its important to note that India has leapfrogged a lot of nations with a strength of about 2.5 million today.
