I get that it is just supposed to be a mindless action flick but that's no excuse. Films like Die-Hard, T2, Aliens, etc demonstrate that you can have action movies that also have a story and real characters.

Avatar is eye-candy. Very good eye-candy. Don't know how good it will look on TV.
