Yeah in the past three weeks he showed that he is probably best suited for their band. I mean they have to realize that they'll still have to dwell on their past success to get people to come to tours and buy any future albums. Most bands want to shake that image, but lets face it, you put a lot of hard work and effort into establishing yourself so why throw it away? When fans pay to see an INXS concert they want to see the classic songs, and see them performed well. In that respect J.D. looks to be the right choice. He may stir up a bit of controversy with the band, but in a rock band environment it can be healthy as it can motivate all parties to produce their best work. Pretty Vegas would make for a song that INXS could release. Marty's Trees was catchy, but not something you'd expect to see from INXS.
