I still think that at some point there needs to be a logical discussion with kids and teenagers about Abstinance. But there needs to be a discussion about other alternatives to abstinance and how they can protect themselves. However I don't think that anyone should be promoting condoms as 100% effective at protecting these kids from pregnancy or worse.

I think a lot of people snort at abstinance and then shrug their shoulders and say "What can you do, Kids are going to f%%ck" anyways. I think thats lazy teaching or lazy parenting. I mean I think back to it, my old man basically tossed me a condom everytime I left the house on a date, i believed that if I used a condom I was entirely safe thats the way they promoted it, they even used the term safe sex. Sounds pretty secure right?

The only true safe sex is pretty much no sex. Condom use during sex is safer sex then going bareback, but its not 100% effective, nor should it be promoted that way.
