For whoever asked about Triumph....

I used to own a 08 Street Triple, and loved it. The bike just had so much character, and drew lots of attention. And best of all, it was as fun to ride as it looks, with that amazing triple engine. Throw in good ergos and sharp handling.

My complaint was that some of the components felt "cheap". Not Hyosung cheap, but definitely not at the level that I required for my type of riding. If you just like messing around town and cruising the highways, the equipment is more than enough. However, if you like to really attack the twisties, there are definitely some shortcomings. Nothing that can't be solved with aftermarket stuff, but after calculating how much it would cost me to get the bike to where I wanted it, I decided on another bike instead.

Triumph attempted to address some of those issues with the R model, but IMO, it's better to just get the regular version, and build up.

Had I known that I would end up getting another parking stall at my condo several months after selling her, I would have kept it. It's a great bike overall.
