Try unplugging it from the wall for a few seconds and see if that helps. Chances are that there is some sort of fuse or surge protection built into the unit that has tripped, but I couldn't tell you exactly where it is.

You mentioned you have a surge protector. Make sure that it hasn't been tripped - there is usually some sort of button that has popped out.
