Ferbey will be the new third on Gushue's team next season. They made the announcement Thursday in Gushue's hometown of St. John's. Gushue won an Olympic gold medal at the 2006 Turin Games while Ferbey has captured four world titles.
Gushue, 29, will continue to play skip with Mark Nichols at second and Ryan Fry at lead. Ferbey is expected to call the shots while Gushue will continue to throw the final stones.
