So a couple of developments yesterday. I went into the endboards at top speed last night and smashed up my hip. I'm kind of limping around, but not a big deal. It shouldn't affect p90x. I had a pretty good burn for hockey last night. Pushed myself to skate hard. Can feel my endurance coming back after a week of p90x.
The really bad part is i'm have a head cold. Yesterday afternoon I felt the throat tingle. I started drinking echinacea tea in the afternoon and when I got home I knew I had full blown aids cold.
I'm going to try to power through this. It's odd, it seems as though i always get sick during some part of p90x. Maybe that's because I just do it all the time basically. Anyway, I hate getting sick because I don't think I should. Healthy diet + adequate sleep + exercise sets you up for a pretty good defense against viruses.
So i'm on echinacea and zinc lozenges right now. hopefully it's a quick one.
Back and Biceps tonight and hopefully have the mind frame to do plyo tomorrow.
