I like the Thanks button, as instead of quoting some big picture or long post just to say "Haha" or "so true!", you just throw out a Thanks. I'm sure it's helped keep threads cleaner.

It's funny, because when it was first introduced I thoght it was so gay, I didn't even get the point of having it. But now I'm so used to it that when I go to another board I'm a member on, it throws me off without a Thanks button. It just seems like so much work to quote a long message just to write "Ya!!" now. I didn't think it was possible for the internet to make me any lazier than it already had, but here we are.
