Wtf, that's twice now in less than a week. The crazy thing, is I even wiped and re-installed Windows over the weekend.

Last week, I closed the lid on my laptop and waited for the light to blink to indicate sleep mode, then put it in my backpack and left. I stopped for supper on the way home, so my laptop was sitting in my car inside my backpack for close to 90 minutes. When I got home, I left my bag sitting in the living room for another hour before pulling it out...

Anyway, when I opened the bag, I heard the fans on my laptop roaring... I pulled it out and it was like I was pulling it out of an oven. The friggin thing had woken up from sleep mode sometime while it was in my bag.

Same thing again today, I wait for the light to blink, go to class, pull it out of my backpack, and again it's on and the fans are running.

What the heck is waking this thing up? Is this some sort of known issue with Windows 7 or something? The laptop is a dell and is less than 3 months old.
