Trade makes me a little envious as it has me revisit SEA's situation.

Hasslebeck should be cut like this, and he's been less of a "face" of their franchise then McNabb is/ever was by a country mile.

Of course, SEA doesn't have a Kolb/Vick type tandem in place, and who knows if Hasslebeck would get the return that McNabb got, but SEA also has two picks in the top 14 this year and plays in a division that currently has no standout QB's, and based on other team talent, could be challenging for the division regardless of who is learning the ropes at being a full time QB, for the next couple years.

Never know what may happen at the draft, but with McNabb doing what he did for PHI, and IMO still playing at a level higher then Hasslebeck, maybe the time is right to cut teeth on Whitehurst and draft a QB at #6 then stick it out with a Hasslebeck who may or may be able/want adapt to Carroll's WC system, assuming he finally stays healthy for the first time in 3+ seasons.
