How about instead of just using sarcasm and being a jerk, people actually make a decent post about why they think the other poster is wrong? That would be too hard.

Good point. How many people post just in the hopes of obtaining thanks? Does it saturate the board with more useless posts?

The "dislike" function is an interesting idea. I would definately be drawn to reading these posts as well, to see why they were attracting such attention.
